I knew exactly what was happening in the game, no need to analyze anything. I didn't care what the velocity was or anything else the announcers fit in. We also didn't have to listen to the unamusing rantings of the commentators. It was wonderful.

To be honest, I'd really like to watch games this way. Combine it with all the players being miked up without censorship or cancel culture, and that would be so much fun.

I really like our announcers in KC but if this were offered as an option, I'd use it sometimes. The in-game ads really separate you from the experience of the game. I get that they need ads to pay the bills but hearing the actual announcers pimp the local crazy lawyer really pulls you out of the game.
