Dr. Richard D. Stiff i wouldn't say it was stupidity but more of a mistake. he dealt with this mistake in the smartest way by not getting anyone out. hence, him being the smartest base runner atm. every player makes mistakes, the great players can take that back.

at 7:40 why was the batter called safe? Whats the specific rule here. Cause the catcher had ball, and touched 1st while the batter was off base, does he have to touch base AND tag the runner? does that only apply to first base?

Haha we are good bro. I'm a cubs fan but I think Baez is the perfect player, his game IQ has grown in his batting and he puts forth way to much effort into everything. I'm sure they could already make this 10 minutes video with only his plays.
