Dr. Richard D. Stiff i wouldn't say it was stupidity but more of a mistake. he dealt with this mistake in the smartest way by not getting anyone out. hence, him being the smartest base runner atm. every player makes mistakes, the great players can take that back.

As far as I understand, if you are touching the chalk and the ball is in play you are in the batters box.

At 0:56 he could have just tagged Third base to get him out because he caught the ball, and his foot left the bag before he caught it.

If the runner had been anyone except Jeremy Giambi I don’t know if Jeter would have been successful with that flip throw. Giambi looked like he was running with a piano on his back!

at 7:40 why was the batter called safe? Whats the specific rule here. Cause the catcher had ball, and touched 1st while the batter was off base, does he have to touch base AND tag the runner? does that only apply to first base?

Of course not. Why would it? And, as it's a bunt, there's never an infield fly. Pop it up with the bases loaded and you're looking at a potential triple play.

No its not he is right handed so he can do that and what i mean by that is that the pitchers leg would have had to been going behind his other leg for that to be a balk so the move the pitcher made right there is completely legal

They play shifts cause the batter usually has a high percentage of hitting to the right side of the infield.

@@iceboxtakesdubs6694 I get that, but why so much space at 3rd base? It looks like the 3rd base player is almost on 2nd base. Yes, the batter has a high percentage to hit right, but the defending team is opening up a huuuge space for the batter to bunt towards the 3rd base line.

They dont tag the lead runner because he would have been safe and they saw that the runner at 1st was running so they had to point to tell him to go back

Haha we are good bro. I'm a cubs fan but I think Baez is the perfect player, his game IQ has grown in his batting and he puts forth way to much effort into everything. I'm sure they could already make this 10 minutes video with only his plays. I know he's not the greatest ever, but he's the kind that gives you great pride and happiness through his character and effort every day.

@@Woodsyone Apparently you don't get sarcasm. It took the Cubs 2 years to get rid of Fowlmouth. For one thing I was giving Baez a great compliment. The Cards have been trying to get rid of racist Dexter since they got him. He is so well known as a locker room cancer that NO ONE will take him, not to mention that he is a horrible player. Math Williams knows what I am saying.
