This was a great review. Looking forward to your take on Basecamp 4. We've been using Basecamp for over a year. The platform has helped us significantly reduce our reliance on email and has noticeably improved team collaboration. However, for complex projects that require multiple sprints, interconnected tasks, and involve developers rather than marketers, we still prefer Monday.

the formatting looks confusing, and there are pop up everywhere when inputting something. but i think the separation between column is great.

Basecamp was great 8 years ago. Today it's just not giving you any real gain over Workflowy or even a paper notepad.

If that's your opinion, you've not looked into it lately. I've used several project management tools in my career, and I've found it to be rather feature rich and straight-forward.

Free when teams are under 15, right? If it's larger than that, then $99/mo is less than your labor. That's $6.60/user-month at 15 users.
