There is 2 similar stories by hikers in the Andes. 4 experienced hikers had an encounter with the same descriptors where the unidentifiable being crossed the path they were walking on. It ran away at lightening speed. They captured 5 seconds of the creature as it disappeared in the jungle. A similar encounter happened with a young couple on vacation hiking in the Amazon.

Hi Chris, This story is soooo creepy. Idk about traditions in South America but in India, when people are traveling in the forest, the last person wears a mask on the back of his head hopefully giving the illusion that he is facing the opposite direction that he is walking. He does this in hopes of making a tiger believe he is looking out from the back of the line while the person in the front is looking forward. This is done because a tiger attacks from behind. I honestly don't know if the backward-mask trick actually works. I do know that I wouldn't want to be the last person in line! 💚&🌞 Wavey

I lived in ashford for 7 years, which of you know that area is 5 miles from the main entrance to Mt Rainier, I experienced quite a few things living out there from almost the first night in the house. There are more than Bigfeet in those hills, there is a reason the tribes in the area didnt go into the woods around Mt Rainier and warned folks about it. I normally was never bothered living there but I had4 incidents that scared the daylights out of me, and only 3 of those I never saw a thing but just woke up scared to death. And one night I woke up and saw soemthing staring in the window at me at the front of the house since the front of the house was all window and my couch was facing the window and my tv was up against the window. The guy from the story was lucky to have gotten away I know where this story took place, I havent been there personally the closest I got to it was the entrance to the park out there. Driving over that bridge can be unnerving all by itself but it is beautiful out there.

When I hiked the pct a few years ago, the eeriest section for me was in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest but in a different area of the forest before Stampede Pass on the trail. The entire day I felt like we were being watched. Something landed near us as if thrown. In the night I woke up and turned on my phone to check the time. The moment my tent lit up there was a hooting sound. It was low to the ground. I asked my companion if she heard it from her tent. She said yes it was an owl. I'm thinking .... a ground owl with lungs of a rhinoceros.... At no other point on the PCT did I have the creeps.

The interesting thing my husband and I found down by the Melmont Ghost Town (a town that processed what was pulled from the mines up there) was wolf tracks. Wolves are not supposed to be in the area, but I have no doubt they are, wolverines are in there too. It’s a dang spooky area, you feel like you’re always being watched and I have no doubt that there could be other very strange things lurking in the dark shadows of that forest.

@christoffesedao3579 Жыл бұрын
@@unropednope4644There are thousands of unsolved missing person cases. And there is a wide range of unnatural creatures on the earth that were never intended. Accounts from all regions, cultures, and centuries of past to present. From Natives to Genesis chapter 6 there are plenty of well recorded accounts of giants. The fallen ones corrupted the seed of humans and animals. That is why the flood occurred. God wiped out all the seed corruption on earth. Noah was found to be righteous (Hebrew meaning Tamon). This was not about good behavior. Tamon means that Noah and his family still carried the original DNA that God intended to be His creation. They never had sexual relations with Nephilim. But the fallen ones (Nephilim) continued to corrupt the seed of animals, man, and plants. That’s one of multiple reasons why Christ is coming back. Because seed corruption is so widespread again. There are all types of manufactured beings (monsters) that will be used to wreak havoc on earth during tribulation. It’s time to get right with Jesus Christ. 🙏✝️

Yep. Had the crap spooked out of me at cedar flats once. Never saw anything just a super dreadful feeling to leave and to leave now. I was cutting firewood with a large sthil saw

Same for 45 years but for me I don't get creeped out. My family's has had a mining claim there since very early 1900's and it's beautiful and peaceful there. Quite a hike in. Cougars tend to stalk ya. Great fishing. Sasquatch's are friendly but very reserved at first from a distance. People do have to watch out for the like Asian / Chinese hunters that come through there for mushroom / goldenseal / ginseng hunting because they carry automatic weapons and aren't always friendly and as a woman they creep me out the way they stare. And they leave a lot of garbage and bottles and cans at there camp sites. You should never go into the woods alone and always know your surroundings.

Hello again good friend Chris, this was a real creepy one, one-of-a-kind. This was a new one on me never heard of it before. Ducks going ape haha, never heard that before. Gosh I wonder how many unknown species there are out there all over the world? What if that thing would have crawled out of the swampy areas while you were videoing this episode. Holy cats. I can see you now scrambling around. Well thanks much and keep hiking good distant friend❤

That's a good idea Linda. I work in the field and it's been crazy with all the bear and coyote encounters I've had, more than ever before. I'm taking you up on that idea since this is an oddball year, who knows what else I'll see.

Well That was pretty scary Chris ! Although this gentleman must be pretty traumatized....I sure wish he could put pen/pencil to paper for some drawings. He gave such a vivid and immediate description that, clearly, this image is seared into him. If he could find an artist to follow his verbal description it sure would be something..... And You, Chris, telling us this scary story in a scary swamp !!!!!!! Thank you as usual loved the beautiful shot of those wild flowers.

Chris, have you ever wondered why they created these protected wild spaces and then generally don’t allow professional filming or use of drones to film their documentaries?? Addendum: Your interview with this fellow was very interesting; the amount of detail he was able to relate was very impressive and yet if he didn’t know something, he didn’t try to make anything up. People who are pulling your leg, generally try to make whole cloth, but this guy didn’t..if he didn’t know, he said so.
@unropednope4644 Жыл бұрын
The National parks were created to preserve these naturally beautifully places for future generations and nothing more. All filming and photography is allowed in national parks and forests as long as its for personal use only. If you plan on selling the footage or making any kind of profit then you need to get a permit so the rangers know where you're filming and how much equipment you'll be bringing in. Film crews have been known to damage trails and plant life and filming can disturb the animals. As for drones, they are expressly forbidden to use inside all national parks because the noise can disrupt the peaceful tranquility and atmosphere that people come to the park to enjoy. They also tend to disturb the wildlife as well. Not even park rangers are allowed to fly drones unless permission is given by the park director for emergencies. FYI, I worked at teton and yelllowstone as a backcountry ranger for years when I was younger. Don't worry, there's no secret conspiracy planned by Roosevelt to protect cryptids inside national parks.
@overbuiltlimited Жыл бұрын
I worked as a LE Ranger as well, but another agency. California, Nevada and Alaska. I echo @unropednope46's comments. No conspiracy.
@overbuiltlimited Жыл бұрын
@@calmlake1616 Well I can't speak to "blocked out areas" or "prohibited areas" because we didn't have anything like that in the places that I worked. We had wilderness areas that biologists designate, usually in order to protect certain plant life. There is no motorized travel allowed in those areas. Furthermore there were no areas that were off limits to filming. If it was a commercial for profit operation then a film permit needed to be done. Movies, documentaries, professional photographers etc. No permit required for personal filming or picture taking. I never saw anything to suggest that the government was restricting people from documenting what ever they desired on public lands. No policy written, spoken or inferred. If you think that all government employees believe that the government is always right or that the government doesn't hide things from the people you haven't talked to enough government employees.

Maybe the scariest story of yours up to now. I think I have watched all yr videos, so I can admit this story gave me goosebumps. People will keep hiking of course, but they should be armed in all occasions, just in case. Going solo is risky, going unarmed is crazy. My father was a hunter and he lived to narrate a few creepy events during his alone time in the woods. Greetings from Greece.
