BASEketball Trailer - Directed by David Zucker and starring Trevor Einhorn, Jill Gascoine, Matt Stone, Michael Garvey, Stanley G. Sawicki. Two losers from Milwaukee, Coop & Remer, invent a new game playing basketball, using baseball rules. When the game becomes a huge success, they, along with a billionaire's help, form the Professional Baseketball League where everyone gets the same pay and no team can change cities. Theirs is the only team standing in the way of major rule changes that the owner of a rival team wants to institute.

Fun fact: Trey and Matt agreed to do this is because they were sure that South Park was gonna get canceled before filming started. Yeah, them, the actual creators, didn’t know that it was gonna become a global phenomenon and last for 25 years and counting!

I agree. With a sport like this, as Denslow (Ernest Borgnine) says, "We could start fresh. No teams changing cities, or players get traded, and everyone could be paid the same." And yes, as he says, also, "Anyone can play. Any ordinary average can Joe can be a sports hero." Anyone can also sign up to play for any team they want to play for, and not have to be drafted. Anyone with bad backs and bad knees can get together and compete in the sports field like those in the Olympics who are goosed up on steroids. But more than just competing for the champions and the playoffs, it's even about having the best times ever playing the professional sport itself.

Good movie. Not as good as "Orgasmo" or "Cannibal the musical", and not nearly as funny as their SouthPark "Sarcastaball" episode, but still funny overall. They've come along way, and are still going strong. Gotta love these guys.
