Great setup, love it! I think that the Simplex TrueAlert with the standard Simplex voice evac really fits your rooms and stuff. I like the fact that they also have the ability to be used as a PA speaker. That's awesome! It's just so good to see you caring for it and making sure it works. 60 bpm March time (code 3 but no pause) also makes smart sync strobes work but as an added bonus will sync older 4903 strobes as well

We had this Simplex voice evacuation fire alarm in the auditorium of the high school I went to, and oddly enough only the auditorium which was in a one story building (aside from our gymnasium was in a recessed basement level with the locker rooms and storage under the bleachers), so the "walk to the nearest stairway" announcement would have been irrelevant.

How did you construct the voice evacuation driver and where did you find the HQ default message at? I have a bunch of speakers I’d like to do something similar with as voice evac panels are way too expensive.

Speaker strobes are generally pretty moderate. Not loud enough to be painful. It depends on the wattage they’re tapped at, though.
