As a Brit who has spent at least a couple of minutes in a pub in my lifetime, this is the most authentic looking home pub I've ever seen. Not even a hint of it looking like it's in someone's house. Just looks like a pub. Amazing work.

In 2010 we took a week-long trip to Ireland and visited 47 pubs, your basement pub is the closest home pub I've seen to the real thing. You did one hell of a job! Very jealous! You oughta make some more pub videos to show it off more, slainte!

Amazing job my man!!! I’m a home theater enthusiast working on a IMAX/Dolby theme theater for mine… totally different feel than this… but the amount of detail and work done here, is incredible… the pho stained glass windows are amazing!! So much incredible work here! We have a saying in the home theater community “are we really ever done?” So I know exactly what you mean when you weren’t totally done.

Your pub has one of the more authentic vibes I've seen in the Southwestern US and I've been to a bunch of actual Irish pubs out that way. The TV was a must if you are gonna watch the GAA or the Six Nations (one of the tournaments Ireland has been dominating lately). Couldn't be a pub without a sports TV somewhere, we do love our sports.

When I turned my basement into a “Bar” I used the ceiling tiles too. I was too chicken to do what you did but found couple other ways to use them in our design. Nice work!

Great looking pub. But please please please get rid of the bulmers cider and replace it with magners from Ireland. Bulmers is English. I'm from Belfast but live in Scotland now and currently converting my garage into a brew room and replica of a pub I drank in when I was young back home. Won't be as good as yours as I'm doing it myself and I'm blind. Yip I like big challenges lol

Nice work! I'm no clothing guru, but donning some vintage traditional irish tweed might add to the mystique of the bar. Firearms on the walls always helps in displaying the manly touch, a little like in the movie 'Khartoum' with General Gordon's man cave. Pics of the old country perhaps? Pic of the The Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers from The Great War? I'm seeing an expansion of the bar in your future by about 900 square feet for starters. I would change the pic of Oscar Wilde with a pic of Rory Gallagher tho. Much more manly. Cheers!

ok I came to YT to find bar ideas as growing up my parents had a rec room (I hate 'man cave' due to my parents BOTH enjoyed it as we entertained family/friends almost every weekend) anywho. Now that I am in MY home, I want to build a bar and get our rec room going. OMG this is absolutely phenomenal! I am literally taking notes to see how I can try to do something similar. Awesome man cave. Ok can someone please answer this for me? I live in Houston, TX. We don’t have basements (we do have a tunnel system with lots of shopping in downtown Houston) but no basements under our homes. This is the second basement man cave that I have come across that has full size windows. How does a basement (I’m assuming it’s underground) have full size windows that show outside if it’s underground? Please aware me. I’m serious.
