Hey man. Just so you know the 3 sided headlight bulbs are the worst for beam pattern and all that. Please get something that's only 2 sided. You'll also notice a brightness difference as the beam will be better focused. I reccomend the novsight bulbs for on the cheap but half decent.

I'm about to buy a Bashan Motomax 250 myself you should be able to get 70 to 75 mph. on that bike when your done with it good job guys keep it up god bless.

Great upgrades and a fine video by all means. I'm glad to see that Lonnie could make it, y'all are like the friends of mine that I grew up with and we spent our extra time and money modifying our street cars and lining em up on the weekends to see if we could get some extra power and a few seconds faster on the local 1/8 mile dragstrip.....man those were the days but now I'm more interested in trailbikes, dirt bikes go carts and buggies and appreciate all your help and insight, watching the vids are almost like being there and yeah, I think that Bashan engine on a trail bike would be awesome bro! Hey bud, don't know if you know or even care but mounting the tag in TN vertically can get you a ticket. Personal experience from TNHP. Don't think they'll stop you for it though, but definitely got that added on during a stop.

You can use some of that high heat/ heat resistant clear coat spray paint on the exhaust where you welded on it so it wont rust. Ik you said you dont care but it might save you from having to clean the rust later on. Really like the vids btw.. 👍

Its cool that your doing mods on that bike. Im looking forward to seeing all you do with it. I find those engines interesting because of the valve train set up. I wondered if it was to keep the overall height of the engine down or it was a cost advantage. Ether way its all good!

These bikes are great value. Check with your dmv before buying because sometimes they are tough to register for the road. Especially in pa. However you can slide them through mom and pop places that still do it the old fashioned paper way

Out of pure curiosity I was told it wouldn't work but I believe otherwise for some reason but would you be able to investigate trying to fit the brozz 250 Forks swingarm well basically an entire suspension swap onto the MotoMax frame you don't have to do it but could you possibly find out if everything fits I'm thinking about doing it

What is the curb weight of the Motomax? I think maybe 276 lb is the dry weight. Most of my riding will be on secondary roads, a little gravel and a little dirt. I'll never hill climb or jump it. No rough riding on trails. I'm 5' 11'' tall and weigh 180 llb. Would I be better off with the Brozz. I was told the Bozz250 and the Motomax 250 have the same engine. The Bozz250 has a different engine ( 167FMM ) identified in the specifications. I'm confused about this. I want the CGP250 counter balanced engine like the one on the Motomax on the Brozz. If I buy the Bozz 250 I hope it has the CG250 engine by Zongshen.. I think maybe the Motomax has the best front fork? Do both bikes have the same swing arm/rear suspension? I'm was confused, but I saw the light !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The CGP250 engine is identified two ways. Those mufflers sound good with the baffle in and the little block off plate removed. I think it better to modify the air box with bigger inlet tube (for the bigger carb) and letting more air in because of water intrusion issues.

It'd be awesome to see a built xr250r engine on this. Same displacement but with 4 valves and 6 gears. You wouldn't need to set up radiators, but you would need an oil reservoir

When you cut the rear fender how did you reroute the license plate light?

That engine is not comparable to the CRF230. The CRF230 engine is over head cam and non counterbalanced. That engine is an expanded/modified CG125 clone which is overhead valve and has a counterbalancer added. P.S. If you haven't done so, set the valve clearance.

I have this bike and the crf230 exhaust does not fit. The right side of the small square frame is in the way near the exhaust header. The brozz 250 does not have this piece of frame, only a left piece so that the header has plenty of room to curve out. The brozz is a much better bike, I wish I would've bought that one.

Now you need to increase the size of the jets.You can probably get away with going up 1-2 sizes on the main jet and adjusting the air/fuel screw and keep the pilot jet as is.

Hi All.Happy Thanksgiving. #1.Platinum is in 'The Catalytic Converters'.hope you didn't throw them out.=$ for shop stuff.#2.Sounds great,but most trail systems require 'Spark Arresters' in the exhaust,so throw 1 baffle back in.We all saw the dry stuff along the roads,=that's why.Happy Trails.:)
