In a way yes. It’s for cadets who are going into their third year but joined late into the program. They teach you basic army battle drills and run through a lot of the stuff you will be expected to know your 3rd year. The biggest difference is that this lasts 30 days where actual basic training lasts 10 weeks. I’m currently a CDT and will be attending basic camp this summer.

@@Alex-wt7jw I did ROTC at University of Hawaii @Manoa for 2 years and now I was told by James Oliver of the Hawaii Army ROTC at the University of Hawaii @Manoa told me that I have to complete the 300 course in order to re join even though I did ROTC in 2015-2016 and that’s like 2 years so I was told that I have to attend the Cadet Summer Training program in order to get into the ARMY ROTC at the University of Hawaii @Manoa and so I was wondering 💭 if finished the Cadet Summer Training course and finishing the 300 course would I fly back to Hawaii and than let the instructor know of the Hawaii Army ROTC that I completed the 300 course or would they just know and also when finishing the Cadet Summer Training program do we all get a CAC card (Common Access Card) as well with the gear we get like the Pants coats boots 👢 PT uniform like shirt shorts PT belt and Water bottle that we take with us and a book how does it work when we are done with the Cadet Summer Training (CST) ? and we go back to where we came from right like the University I would check in with which is University of Hawaii @Manoa ARMY ROTC right ? it’s just so I can know and Family day is when your family comes and visits I know that part too but the other stuff like the graduation from Cadet summer training I was wondering what would happen next after the graduation so what would happen after that ? do we get our CAC card (Common Access Card) or do you have to qualify for it ?
