Anyone know what kind of pad he's using here? I like the sound of it. Seems like it's harder than a rubber practice pad.

It’s a xymox id pad . I would get a heavy hitter slim pad with laminate if you want the same sound. DONT buy anything from xymox. Read the reviews... please
