To work out what the quality will be you add the lvls of the mats you are using and divide it by the amount of items required, so the sword was 13+23+16/3=17.33 and you always round down

If you want make quality items, you need quality ressources of quality but not the quality of the quality of your quality level tool by far bring you quality to higher quality of average quality. Repeat untill you get better quality. ( no joke, thanks gj for the guide spark ;) )

There's not a lot of math. There's very simple math. This is simply the arithmetic mean of all components. For example, the video at 5:40 shows how to make a wooden shaft: 1 level of wood + 0 level of fiber + 47 level of workstation = 48, and the arithmetic mean will be 48/3 = 16. What exactly we see in the video.

There has to be a threshold on that with the workstation. He shows at 7:31 a quality 46 fiberworking station is using all base material. So what we are missing is what level station starts adding a level to the material. We also need to see if it will add that extra level to a material that already has quality.

You say quality rupu vines are the hardest to find, and u have like a stack of quality bone splinters, I have found quality vines but can't find the quality bone splinters, making me wonder if my map even has them

oh man that's a joke.. we play as 2 man.. this game is like for ma 100 man clan but not for 2 Players alone. Is a good game but far too much to do for few players, if this is so with the item levels, it is harder to get good stuff than in Conan or in Ark. And that means it is not to be played if you still have a life. Because everything will be back to normal soon. I don't even need to start playing anymore because in a few weeks everything will be back to normal. Pity. To do so much is really only for people under 30 ^^.

im lvl 40 solo from beginning till now and its super easy crafting qualitiy items, everything is super easy farming etc. but crafting tablets in hard oasis is pain for a solo player and thats is the only problem for now ...

I'm pretty much running as a 2 man crew and only get to play of an afternoon due to work and we have accomplished quiet alot even have a hornet as our main walker so it is possible

You have to remember neither Ark or Conan give you the option safely log out either, I do agree grindy games are frustrating. This game isn't near as grindy as you would think though. Have you actually stacked a bunch of harvesting mods and used a spider ? Awesome to level and harvest. Also the saw. You just have just keep advancing and consider the game actually has easier ays to harvest things. You also have to be willing to discover them. Not to mention its an early access game with hardly any wiki and tons of things to come. About number of people, thats your choice. Not saying its a bad one, Ive seen small groups do amazing things in this game, but its as simple as any other thing in life where large numbers have large impact. I do assume they will add guild caps, but who knows.

lol there is, more durability on tools,armor and weapon.. ok thats not much but heh u can get a walker quality 50 with 5 slot of module that stack to 10 and nother slot of 6 stack ;)
