You're channel is amazing sir! I'm definitely going to incorporate this into my training as well as my students. Thank you so much for the great content. Even though I teach tkd I truly believe that as a martial artist you must expand your knowledge in order to create true balance. Each discipline has something unique to offer. Thanks again and please keep them coming. I always make sure to share your content with the people whom I know. It's great to see another vegan martial artist.

Thanks so much Eladio! I totally agree, too, we can learn from all arts and artists! Really makes my day to hear another coach wants to adapt and use my material! And makes my year to be n touch with another vegan martial artist! Where do you teach and train, my friend?

What type of stretches would you recommend for legs in order to kick better?
@CenturianEagle7 жыл бұрын
I know you want to hear his answer- as would I, but might I recommend bas ruttens stretching video? I don't remember what it's called, I downloaded a torrent of it a long time ago but it had a lot of good stretching videos, i remember that's where I discovered the benefit to doing dynamic stretches along with static stretches, (it came with a ton of good stretches for each) I'd highly recommend

Right on! Would also recommend Bas Rutten's material. Big fan of dynamic stretching before kicking and static stretching post training, here. This vid shows my approach with one of my beginner mates - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWPaiJKbeLyebqM

Agreed! Love your lead left hook brother! Do you still post on the underground? I remember that's how I discovered your channel a few years ago, I personally don't go on there anymore, whole forum is just dick joke after dick joke, lol people on there are faacked! But the point of this message was to let you know you should post some videos on there again! If you think about it, that's how I discovered the channel, been a fan ever since. Maybe some other people could get the benefit of discovering your videos on there too, as opposed to you know- seeing a dick joke or seeing a condescending keyboard dork criticizing someone's opinion. Haha, anyway, looking forward to the next video- btw, got some really nice new thick Thai pads, any video suggestions to some drills or combinations to work on in your channel?
@CenturianEagle7 жыл бұрын
Haha, sorry, didn't realize they were all categorized simply by clicking "videos" in your channel! Lots of Thai pad/focus pad drills etc there!

Looks like you already found my other vids haha here's a playlist with just pads kzbin.info/aero/PLwWWRT5GPZQGPOll1sIyTEumjZv5CIc9v As for posting on the UG etc, I still keep a semi regular appearance on there, Sherdog, and on Reddit. The problem I get is other people don't seem to like it so much when I share my own things, crazy right? People want good stuff, but don't want people to self promote unless they are already massive, it makes them feel uncomfortable!
@CenturianEagle7 жыл бұрын
Martial Lee - Freestyle Fighting I could totally see that, people can be so ridiculous eh!? Anyways brother thanks for the link to the playlist!

Great combos sir! I have added all these in my work out routine. Respect from India Sir! Martial arts clubs are very rare in my country specially in my region. I practice alone with a heavy bag and don't have any sparring partner. Is it not possible to fight without sparring practice? I will be grateful if you reply. Thanks!

Good combinations I use all them,wondered when you was finally getting sidekick in lol,I like the way you was controlled in that video I normally try taking back head off punches kicks lol,just thinking as your vegan do you really get tired ???,as I love my meat and eat junk food so get tired after 4 -5 mins,and is it better to be light with your shots,as I normally put all my power into kicks punches arms in particular gas out quick ?
@MixedMartialHelp7 жыл бұрын
Aye man! If anyone claims to be me, but doesn't throw side kicks, it's not me! Haha! Since I went vegan I've had the most energy bro, I still get tired but it takes longer, I wish I'd started eating plant based back before I was competing! I used to love eating meat too but your tastes change really fast when you're eating clean water filled foods. Dairy was actually harder to give up than meat, meat was really easy when I made the decision! As for bag training I like to mix up my power, sometimes all shots 100%, sometimes a mixture. It's good to have the skill to mix up your power so you don't gas out too easy. I can throw 3 or 4 hits fast, that my opponent has to defend, then crack in a power shot when they stop moving, or open up to block something else.

Martial Lee - Freestyle Fighting yes I eat lot more healthy then I used to but I am addicted to junk food and do strength conditioning so eat lot protein to build muscle,but definitely affects sparring because get tired quick arms gas out,but what's your opinion on mayweather vs mcgregor I think Conor going to find it hard just to use hands in fight lol,I find it hard from sparring Muay Thai to karate not to bend rules a bit lol,
@MixedMartialHelp7 жыл бұрын
Aye it would be a transition for you, but look at the massive bod builders and strength athletes that are already vegan. Patrick Baboumian is an absolute monster and hes vegan! I think Conor will struggle because his boxing is developed for mma! I know once in a kickboxing match I wanted to throw knees because I'd been fighting Muay Thai for a while haha!

You do pka kickboxing ???
@MixedMartialHelp6 жыл бұрын
No mate but our kickboxing styles are similar. I'm with Shorai, not PKA (if you don't know they are both essentially governing bodies for licencing instructors and gyms etcetc). I probably fought a lot of PKA lads back in the day though, on the open kickboxing circuits.
