Thanks for the pattern! I’m making this for my graduation and I’m excited to see how it turns out :)

Great tutorial! I’m about half way through the tie part of mine right now and it’s helping me to practice my Norwegian purl :) Something I did notice though is that for row 4, the written out pattern before you begin is different than when you get to it in the live tutorial (the purl and knit is switched).

I just found out there are differnt ways to knit! Don't want to be offensive but continental knitting (Ithink that's how it is called) is faster and basicly works the same ;) so if anyone just starts knitting, maybe try this technique.

Thanks for this tie tutorial. I want to knit with silk yarn. Can u suggest which Silk yarn would look best for this pattern. Also, I know u made this at ur dimensions but for a man what dimensions would u recommend. I noticed in ur continental style ur purl is done differently. U didn't bring yarn to front of needle but held it behind the needle. I like that method and will have to try it. I'm a very novice knitter and want to knit a tie for my hubby. Thanks for sharing.

It says you get the pattern free if you join but when Ijoined I then was asked for a monthly fee. Not cool.
