Do the measurements on the curve matter very much when working with french curves? I am not sure whether to buy metric or imperial. Thoughts?
@GuerdaPierre3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching, when it comes to French curve, the curve shape is what you need to concentrate in when manipulating the pattern piece by creating the shape you desire. I live in in the US, I use imperial. Most rulers for pattern making display both system.

I too would like to see pattern making for simple tee shirt and leggings. Could you make a video on how to measure and adjust for a perfect fit from using the measuring tape to armhole structure with the French curve. It could also be done for the leggings. These are my most used clothing types but getting the proper fabric fit combo is so time consuming. Especially now that we buy online and the quality is so unpredictable. Thanks so much.
