Other youtuber -> When crafting a complex project you should always make a plan first and then perhaps adapt. Bard -> Ok! Also bard -> Throws plan in garbage... Does 100x more than previously planned without even breaking a sweat. Also again Bard -> **Whispers Goodbye* xD Came for the skill. Stayed for the humor. You'r amazing. ^-^

I'm glad you didn't resort to using superglue to mount the chain to the rock. Watching you problem solve created a pleasant aesthetic and gave it a look from something of antiquities. They didn't have superglue, just brains. Great job.

I agree partially. The video looks full HD on small displays, but even on my 21" screen I see that it's low-mid quality video. Anyway I dropped my camera (from like 10 cm) and it broke right after the video. Now I'll have to get a new one.

Namehack I would think that getting an airbrush would fly in the face of what his channel has been all about: cheap and easy supplies and techniques that turn into great looking crafts. A lot of people can’t afford or just don’t want to hassle with the airbrushes, fancy electric foam cutters, designers paints, etc., so I’d think it would change the whole feel of the channel.

That was really nice work, found your channel and subscribed. I like the fact that you do everything from a more realistic cost effective perspective using tree bark, baking soda for texture, hemp rope, etc. The stone color worked out nicely, should have glossed it a bit to make it more shiny. Awesome work though wish it was sitting on my desk.

It's also possible to make crystals out of salt, sugar or alaun. You can also shape a crystal out of soap base. But all these methods need a transparent covering to protect it from moisture. Most women have clear NailPaint, which can be used for this purpose. Another method is to shape the stick of a glue pistole into crystals and give them a very hot waterbath(it makes them pretty transparent). It looks epic if you color the bottom of this "crystals" and put a group of them on a light. You could also make many small crystals this way to decorate a magical setting.

the trick is to go towards the color thats on your brush. if you have purple on your brush. your brush should be moving in the direction of the predominantly purple region. when you apply the lighter color your brush should be pulling in the opposit direction. this makes the transitions look great while wet blending

If you’re painting the light infantry elves with cloaks you could make the tops of the cloaks lime green and fade it down to brownish green at the bottoms. Add an earthy shade and dry brush with light green. Then for extra stealthy camouflage you could dab on a bunch of green and brown splotches, maybe glue on some lichen or herbs for texture. You could even do the same on the shields and make them double as portable shrubs. That’d be my suggestion.
@BardsCraft

CA glue, even the expensive ones, come in different viscosity. Some of the dollar store super glue is thick. And some expensive woodworking super glue is very thin. Just depends. Has nothing to do with price though.

Awesome! Very exciting. Just some thoughts: I think there should be a bit of broken chain dangling from the side facing the fourth broken pillar. Also, with rocks that size I don't think there would be such large cracks between the pillar and top ring. It would look really cool if there was moss/flock coming out of those cracks and hanging down the pillars.

@@BardsCraft 3 millimeters boards work best. That's usually the panels found at the bottom of drawers and on the backside of flatpack furnitures. You'll need a jigsaw to cut a roundish base, and an orbital sander (or just sand paper) to taper the edges. If it is laminated on both sides, you'll need to scratch the surface for the paint to stick, if not just use the rough side up.
