Josh! Thank you man, you’re another great person who is as real in person as you are on your channel!! Thanks for always taking time to help and talk with me and take the yearly SEMA pic ha ha

Retired now, and I no longer have to go to SEMA, but you are correct. Josh is very nice, works hard to deliver meaningful videos and shys away from reviewing most detailing chemicals on the market. Keep it real JoshIMV!

So finally Yvan , rotary is better than DA to get a last polishing with a high gloss at speed 1 with 3 fingers only ? Thanks

One of if not the best to learn from. He’s designed machines, he’s very comfortable with them. He lets the machine do the work and 45 years of experience. Yvan is phenomenal.

Yvan, Sylvie, Nick and the whole DIY/C6 team thank you so much for the time you spent helping and showing my wife and I these great tips. Sorry I was all over the place with my questions from rotary to DA I was nervous and excited 🤦♂️. I was grateful for the time and patience you gave a DIY/enthusiast like myself. You’ve always been helpful in your KZbin videos and are even more so in person. Wishing you all the best as I continue to follow and support your continued growth for an amazing community and industry we are a part of!!! I can’t wait to try my rotary again, I was honestly ready to put that up on Craigslist too before this tutorial you gave me ha ha!!!

Yvan, will the 3in jeweling pad be back this month? Cars total paint ..primer, paint, clear coat is around 100-150 micron…what number is at a danger zone and you wouldn’t machine polish? Thanks, Tony
@diydetailofficialАй бұрын
Under 100 microns is getting dangerous. They are in production

Hey, thanks for the training. Have the new version pads made it into the store yet? Specifically the 5 inch yellow, wool, and jewel pads?

Hello Ivan, I am new to car detailing, a weekend warrior. I bought an inexpensive Harbor Freight Hercules Cordless and had a hard time using, so I will try what you described. Question looking to get a better quality polisher and was debating on a Rupes or your New cordless. Do I need both DA and Rotary or should I get one and if so which one and why? When is your polisher going on sale?
@diydetailofficialАй бұрын
You don’t need both. Rotary for enhancements and light correction, DA for heavier correction. They will be available spring 2025
@franciscobilog9673Ай бұрын
rotary so only for finishing speed 1, can I still use it for cutting?

Those machines are really loud.😮
@JCBRMRАй бұрын
How’s it going, I’m Jacob the guy from the video and can honestly say it’s not any louder than any of the polishers on the market. Yeah you can hear it for sure but it’s definitely enhanced with the microphones being on our shirts and picking up sound that close. I’m not paid or get discounts or anything, I’m just a fan of their products and these battery polishers and these weren’t the final products either just fyi
