One thing that I love is mixing bowls with lids. So nice! If you're making cookie dough, but not baking right away, it's nice to put a lid on it to pop in the fridge. Same if you make a dish ahead of time, you can cover it before transferring it to your serving bowl.

Also, my other piece of advice is once you know you'll use something, spend some money & get a nice one. Quality kitchenware will last so much longer & your cost per use will go down. I sell Pampered Chef because I love being in the kitchen, and try to let ppl know this. Plus, it's so nice when it actually does it function & doesn't break.

I use a measuring cup to pour soup when my ladle is dirty 🤗 I would also add a whisk because I'm not sure if you showed one. For knives if you don't eat a ton of meat just make sure you get a chefs knife, a serrated knife to cut bread, and it's nice to have a small paring knife too for small stuff like avocados and fruit. One more thing I'd add for couples working on a registry- nice glass food storage (aka fancy Tupperware that's not made of plastic) especially Pyrex because it will last forever.

I also love and prefer white dishes, they look very neat. My favorites are Corelle, they are light weight, shiny and look brand new year after year plus they are hard to break!

For measuring cups it’s so worth it to get a couple of the glass measuring cups! You can put them in the microwave to heat things and it’s so easy to measure large amounts in them.

I love your measuring cups! Regarding cutting boards: I use plastic only. The ones from Tupperware are best. I never use a wooden one, because if I cut any type of onion on it, it can taste awful of fruit etc that is cut on it afterwards, even if you wash it.

+Jyoti Suri awe thank you! These are powder dip nail polish. It's similar to gel nail polish. I don't know the color because I had them painted at the salon. When I use my press ons I soak the nails in nail Polish remover for 5-10 minutes to loosen up the glue. Hope that helps!

I love this. My husband and I will celebrate our 5th Anniversary in November. It's so funny how our practicality changes as time passes. I put a lot of "classic" items on my shower registry as well. Now looking back...I haven't used a lot of it. It is beautiful to have in the house but over the years I've honestly lost interest. There has yet to be a full family dinner of 12 people when I've set my table full with all Lennox bone China lol. I've done smaller dinners and have used serving trays, wine glasses, settings and all. But my company was like...where are your paper plates. I didn't know whether to be insulted, embarrassed or ashamed. I enjoy watching your channel bc it reminds me to be true to myself and If I want to cook in Martha Stewart cast iron pots and serve drinks in long stem flute glasses....it's my own style.
