Basic Tree Climbing 03 - Cambium-Saver Installation and Retrieval Using Throwline

Ring-saver, Friction-saver or Cambium-saver whatever you call it, you can set it up from the ground and retrieve it in a controled way using a throwline. Save damage to your equipment and property by lowering your cambium-saver.
The video also has a few tips that will lessen the chances of getting your cambium-saver stuck.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! When you record the voiceover, you might want to give the microphone a few more inches from your mouth to prevent the audio spikes from the air on the mic. Extraordinary videos! 👍

This might be a stupid question but I'm new to climbing and need help understanding. When you put the cambion saver in place you pull the rope through. But where would you anchor the rope before being able to climb?

Good question. The cambium saver works with a Moving Rope System MRS. So both ends of the rope are conected to yourself. Check out my Basic Tree Climbing 01 video, if you haven't already. Hope that helps.
