This works well. I have searched the web for recipes kzbin.infoUgkxEf52Yn9PpTLKua_uvi5Ams4pIDINER52 There are a few in the pamphlet, but I am ready to explore. NOTE: Once you hit start, don’t mess with it or the dough will not rise. Learned that the hard way.

Is there a way to adjust the LCD contrast? After the initial setting parameters while display is backlit, the backlight goes off, leaving just what appears to be a blank display while running. I have to shine a flashlight onto the display to be able to see the very dim black liquid crystal characters.

Hi, I've been trying to figure out the dough cycle. I used setting 11 it seemed to ding at 23 min. I let it stay in the machine for about 45-50 min. For the first rise. It seemed to work but I'm wondering if I used it right? Do you have any information you could pass on ? Is 11 the number I should use? I'm new at making bread as you can probably tell 😅

I just bought the compact Cuisinart bread machine about 2-3 weeks ago, it can, ake 1, 1.5, and 2lb loaves. All the loaves so far have been 2lb basic white loaves. Let me back track about 2 months. Ok so i decided to learn how to make bread so i bought the Bosch Compact Stand mixer. I tried and tried and tried to make a successful basic white bread but loaf after loaf after loaf came out of the ove the same way, it had a beautiful rise, baked to a perfect golden brown, the smell was awesome BUT it was heavy and wet inside. I ended up literally with a big black garbage bag full of ruined loaves. Hmmmm what to do i thought!!! ahhh i know, I'll buy a bread machine, surely i will make a successful loaf using one of those. According to all the vids I've watched it's just a matter of measure, dump, press a couple buttons and machine will do the rest. WRONG, my loaves are still coming out heavy and wet. All of the loaves I've made were made with me measuring in grams, yes I'm Canadian. The loaf I'm literally making right now I decided to try the imperial measurements, the same as what the U.S.A presently uses,Canada use to use. So I'll give an update in a few hours weather the different measurements worked. Cross our fingers, eeeeeek🤞🤞🤞🤞🍞🥪🥖🥐🍀🧧

@@WannodsPlace Could it be your altitude? This is disheartening. I hope you figure it out.
@WannodsPlace2 жыл бұрын
@@LizAuguste i thought of that but when i look out my window i see the Bedford basin which is part of the Atlantic Ocean, i woukd say I'm less than 500 ft above it. What i did was i returned the bread machine and bought a second hand one, this way i can practice without worrying about how many days i have to return it for a refund. It's an older zojirushi bbccs15. I just posted a vid a couple days ago on KZbin called "Bread made in a Old Zojirushi then slices with a Starfrit" I think i figured out what i was doing wrong.

One pound loaf is 300g as you measured, but when pressing the settings, it read 500g, which is a 2 lb loaf. A mistake pushing the setting?
@breadmakermagic30253 жыл бұрын
300 g of flour is used for a one pound loaf. Technically the loaf is 454 g which is one pound. Be careful not to mix up the weight of the flour with the weight of the loaf.
@roselee23975 ай бұрын
500 is a 1 lb setting

Generally, Europeans and Australians follow the metric measurement system and Americans follow the imperial system, as a Canadian I can say that we actually use both. The comments always have me in stitches.
