The sad thing is that if you go off official 5e lore/stats this would be easy to do, at least the getting to Primus part. A 4th tier party could slaughter hordes of CR2 pentadrones with no trouble. Granted there are no official stats for Primus but there are also no stats for the 9 other higher ranking modrons in older editions, which are necessary to stop or at least challenge the party in Mechanus. I've always loved the fact that the Modron March means every adult in the games worldspace has seen Modrons at least once in their lives. This by extension means almost every PC has to have a background note on how their culture/family/character responds to being invaded by nosy, incomprehensible, mechanical census takers every 17 years. Celstia for example is known to host Moradin, Bahamut, Yondalla, etc. but the plane is run by the "Celestial Hebdomad" who are 7 badass celestials. Moradin has a sub-plane within the center of the mountain known as "Erackinor" or "The Dwarf Home" which also has an exit in Arcadia, with the parts that exit in Arcadia being run by Clanggedin due to his Lg (Capitalization matters, especially in Planescape) nature.

They started out at 10 for the decadrone and worked there way down to 2 for the secundi, who serve Primus directly. Sadly they didn't make it to 5th edition but they form the upper echelon of modron society and kinda flush out the plane a little, since if you thought the pentadrones were the leaders of the race you'd be justifiably confused that a major outer plane is run by fodder constructs weaker then human soldiers

Hey Runesmith! You may not know me because I don't have an internet presence and I've also never met you before but I just wanted to take a little bit of time out of my day to say thanks for making this really interesting and well made content! I love your sense of humor and very much so respect the way you make these crazy ideas actually digestible! People like me don't have the money to go out and buy a buncha lore books but still absolutely love D&D. People like you make it possible for my friends and I to enjoy the game this much more! I truly believe that you're making a positive difference in the world! Thank you again and keep up the great work!!

Idea: Warforged Clockwork Soul Sorcerer that’s actually just a hyper-advanced Modron, built by Primus to travel the multiverse and establish order wherever possible.

I think the idea behind rogue modrons (in 5e lore) is that if they get exposed to chaotic energy it corrupts them. Modrons should only go rogue if they like, go to limbo or something. Which actually makes sense, especially considering what happened to the spawning stone.

Funny Dnd story: My Tiefling Bard/Warlock/Sorcerer is in a relationship with his patron. Both him and his patron have a mark, containing half the power of a deiety, which is transferred via reproduction. “Oh f**k, c***dom broke” .......... This bard acended beyond all other bards, and literary might destroy the universe in the future.

"Nirvana" is the name given to the plane by clueless primes.
@gabcaires24 жыл бұрын
No, Nirvana is the name of Primus domain in Mechanus, there are other domains. Nirvana is withing Mechanus they are not the same thing.
@മദ്യപാനം4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, honestly mechanism doesn't sound like nirvana
@tentacledhorror4 жыл бұрын
@@gabcaires2 Primus's domain is Regulus. Nirvana is what the primes called Mechanus. The Primes got a lot of stuff wrong about the planes, like how they call Baator "The Nine Hells" or the Beastlands were called "Happy Hunting Grounds", or everybody in Dragonlance calls every lower plane the Abyss.

1 in 300,000,000 can be a lot of defectives if 300,000,000,000,000,000 Modrons each get a single shot of going defective, higher if those who don't break first chance get future chances.

Mechanus ruler Primus also shares the same name as the "God" of the Transformers, Primus, who is canonically a entity that exists simultaniously across multiverses, so its not far off to say that DnDs Primus and Transformers Primus are the same being.
