Its interuption is pardoned of course. But, there is still just something still so damn wholesome about a home phone line.

Time and again you guys have proven you can brew great beer with minimal equipment and with extract. Don't need all the latest shiny stuff or rare and expensive ingredients. Thank you for another wonderful video!

So great to see an excellent beer made with basic equipment. It really does come down to knowledge and experience. And you two have shared so much with us. Thank you!

Can't wait to try this. I've been so busy lately and haven't had a chance to brew, but this sounds easy and tasty

Enjoyed the video and I agree make a quick very good beer with DME when you want/need to! Sounds like it might be something similar to a Duvel Triple Hop (possibly...)🙂

That beer looks beautiful delicious!! Hahaha!!! It would have been interesting to pour a glass of the hot fermented kveik you guys did for comparison to the these two gems.

That is the way I brew all my beer. Also ferment at room temp , here in Puerto Rico. They always come out good., been doing it for years. Most of the time I don't boil at all, just bring it up to 180-190 for 20 min. Never any problems. Also they all finish at 1.010 or below. I always tell people they are basicly a Begium style beer or ale.

Clandestine timing: I just did a pilsner kit from AIH using Kveik Ale Yeast. Bugger is done in just 48 hrs @ room temp (3 brew belts on it). It is definitely hazy, but I will keg it with a floating dip tube attachment.

Good looking beer. Steve says 5 lbs of Pilsen DME, but the image on the video shows only 4 bags, plus the one pound of Wheat DME. Can you guys please clarify? Also, I know that DME is much more expensive than grain, but the fact that you can make a beer in 15 minutes appeals to me. Might be nice for a change of pace. Thank you

Definitely 5 lbs. of DME. Photo is deceiving.

If you look at the later still that shows the sides of the bags, you can see the hidden pound.

I still have BrewPal on my phone. (It’s really a dead app, but still works.) I also use Brewfather.

In my experience the fruity character could be from the Lutra. I've used it twice and both times had an odd sweetness that I don't care for. Do you think if you did an all-grain version of the same beer would you be able to tell which was the extract version?

I thought the Lutra was supposed to be super clean ... I remember seeing other KZbinrs using it to make seltzers?
