Basil Pesto Sauce | Perima's Kitchen Recipe!
Ingredients:
Pasta 500 grams linguine or penne is ideal
2cups fresh basil leaves
Quarter cup pine-nuts approx 80g
1 clove of garlic
Half tsp fine salt
Freshly cracked black pepper
2tbs fresh lemon juice
4 to 5 ladles of pasta water in total - add gradually
6 tbs virgin olive oil
Three quarters of a cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese or half a cup of store bought Parmesan cheese
Drizzle of olive oil to garnish
Basil leaves to garnish
Parmesan to garnish
