Hi Cookies Cream😊 The embassy will not provide any course materials for the exam. You need to either enroll in a Dutch Language Institute or self study by purchasing a book for the course or online.

@beautyqueen Exam is only required for people who wish to live with her/his partner in the NL. And if you are a US citizen then you are not required to take the exam. With regards to a family member who wish to live with his family in NL this usually applies to the immediate family member of the Dutch Sponsor either spouse or children. The price for the reading exam that was mentioned in your letter from DUO. The online course is different price with the exam fees.
