Panathnaϊkon Stadion, fits for Panathinaϊkos Basketball Club, (Καλαθοσφαίρα) along with its honorary guests. Αn 80,000 promachoi fans, would had been more normal, if the basketball court would allowed for viewing. The stadion was built for track and field games, and not for gladiators. Its shape and structure, is identical with the Olympic Stadion in Olympia.
