I saw him play with Southeastern Oklahoma University against Langston University in 1983/84? He was the only black on the all white team. He was also the best player on the court. The small gym was jam packed. Everyone was there to see the Worm. Their bus rolled in. They had a brief shooting practice (about 10 mins). They won handily because of the Worm. They left immediately. No talking or photographs with fans or players. Langston Uni is a HBCU and we have all heard about the Worm in newspapers. He never spoke a word to anyone as far as I recall.
