I love the fact that they are "name dropping" real players. But not for the "funny" part of it. As an NBA fan, it is fantastic, especially because it's not just about the name drop ; even the value's evolution of the players, at first sight, seems to fit their real-life careers ! Which is really cool, imo :).

I love sports. I play, watch, and even have a job in the sports field. I didn’t look into this one much even though basketball is my favorite sport and I enjoy the mechanisms, but since I primarily play solo, I passed on it. I decided to pre-order Eleven: The Football Management Board Game instead. But this morning, I met some new gamers nearby, so if I can have a consistent game group again since moving back home from college, then I may pick up this one as well.

Interesting, what I liked about The Networks with less upkeep. Not sure how much I like auctions. Happy this company is around--loving Habitats!

We loved the old version so much. Makes me so excited to play this new version. We used to add an extra dice for battling it out when scoring! 👍

Love this game! Wife loves this game. We don't care for sports but we have such a fun time playing it. Gave it a 9. Would have been higher but I had to look up quite a few rules on BGG.

@@TheRatedOniChannel Baseball Highlights 2045 isn't new but it was pretty good. I wish maybe there was a little more room in the buying new players part but overall it is a solid game. I see there is a dice version r&w, not sure how that is.

This does have the worst rule book of any of my games and it could use a few more effect cards, but it is an excellent auction game overall.

Doesn't scream basketball to me, reminding me of other sports mgt games, failing that classic test, of could it easily be reskinned to another theme... yes it could.

An expansion that would include season play, however that could be implemented would add quite a bit more
