The most valuable player in euroleague right now. Not only in offence. In defence and rebounding he's also great. He understands the game so well. The player that every coach wants in his team. Are you insinuating the Sacramento Kings passed on him? They bought his rights but he has the option to stay or come to the NBA. The Kings want him and are still waiting for him if he’s done with the EuroLeague. His play style would fit right in with the way the Kings play. Very unselfish with a lot of movement. They have 8 players who have scored 30 points so far this season.

At this point, he is one of the most additive players on offence in the world. You could put him on any team in Europe or the NBA and he would be able to open up the offence and create a ton of great looks for himself. Would love to see him go to Sacramento next season and add to the offensive arsenal in place there. Imagine a strong side pick-and-roll situation between Fox and Sabonis with Vezenkov on the wing and Huerter in the weak side corner. Defences would be overwhelmed trying to help and Sabonis is such a talented passer that he'd be able to get the ball to whoever the open man is

@dynctive
@dynctive Жыл бұрын
@@AugustasSuliauskas The defensive question is difficult to answer. Mike Brown is a defensive-oriented coach which would help but Sasha at the 5 and having him play drop defence is the most-likely NBA outcome. Sasha's quickness and lateral defensive movement make him possibly playing the 3 untenable. Even with the fabulous season that he's having in EuroLeague right now, he struggles to close out to shooters with the kind of quickness and positioning that NBA defences would require. The seven seconds or less Suns with Amar'e Stoudamire would be the template, Amar'e had never played the 5 before D'Antoni implemented him as such .

For europeans that's just normal. We are all coming from a football dominant continent. Football is primarily a passing game that relies on off ball movement. All of our players are willing passers, half of the passes Jokić does and americans gas about are just logical passes for an european. Especially first touch, those give and go's, one-two's they are called in football. It's just common sense that the ball will always move faster than any player on the court can.
