Bass-Boosted Smooth Orange Noise, Black Screen 🟠⬛ • 12 hours • No mid-roll ads

⚠️ 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢? If so, I'm sorry that happened. I know it's awful to be startled by a mid-roll ad. I have them disabled on all of my content, but KZbin has a confirmed bug that causes them to play for some viewers anyway. It's not just my channel - this has been a problem across the entire platform since at least mid-2022. KZbin's engineers know about the bug and what causes it to happen, but unfortunately, they have not provided any information about when (or if) they will fix it. The bug tends to manifest as a 30-second mid-roll ad played around the 6-hour mark, and it disproportionately affects iPhone and iPad users. I have been investigating this for a very long time, and I go into more detail about my findings here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJXIhomdj7KbZ7s If you are affected by the bug but still want to access my content, I recommend that you view this video's description and try one of the alternatives I have provided, such as Spotify or Odysee. If you want to stay on KZbin, you'll find that I have live stream versions of my most popular content, and they tend to be safe from the bug - but not always. The only guaranteed way to never get ads on KZbin is to subscribe to KZbin Premium, which I understand is not an option for everyone. As it turns out, the reason I have the luxury of disabling ads everywhere KZbin will let me is because my channel makes the vast majority of its revenue from KZbin Premium. I have reviewed my analytics data and it appears that KZbin does not compensate me for the mid-roll ads in question, which I suspect is because their systems cannot reconcile the fact that a mid-roll ad played even though I have them disabled. You are welcome to reply to this comment with information about what happened to you, but at this point, we have a pretty solid understanding of what's going on and are just hoping it will be fixed. Historically, it helped when viewers would list what type of device they were on, which app or browser was being used, the approximate timestamp of when the ad played, and what company/product/service the ad was for. I appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter, and I'm sorry there isn't more I can do.

Hi! Had an Ad pop up around 1 hr 50 mins. Andriod user. YT app. It was an Ad for a Pluming Company. Love the channel, use it daily ❤

I CANNOT with this cricket in my room!!!! A whole week it has been singing albums every night and I DID NOT BUY TICKETS TO ITS CONCERT!!!! this video helps a lot to drown out its harmonies and i finally fell asleep before 4 am (is there some type of noise to get crickets to finally shut up??) I wish I had your kind of problems dude. In my case it's loud bass music played at night, still at night a neighbour who always laughs like the dumbest man on earth, and other random disturbing noises... could we switch for one night at least?

Yes this is the second night in a row with a McDonald’s ad waking me up around the 6 hr I’m on an iPhone and using the KZbin app. I found this sound helps me best fall asleep but McDonald’s should pay you for the free advertising!

Usually, once it starts, it doesn't stop... so I suspect you're going to keep getting those ads each night from now on. I would definitely begin looking into the alternatives I have listed in the video's description.

@DJGrossman - Just wondering, do you have the technology to merge two different sounds together as one, and then place them in a video? Regarding the video with the bubbles, I have another thought. What if you took the orange sound from this video, and combined it with the rain on a porch sound so they're in sync and playing together? I ask because when I have my fan on, which sounds like this orange sound, I put your rain on a porch sound, and man oh man, out like a light! 😴 💤 😊

I'd have to listen to them back to back for a few seconds, but if the last orange one you did here was smoother sounding, I think it would work better with the porch rain.
