Awesome playing. Admittedly distracted wondering when the 'belly button' on the shirt was going to pop

I can never get tired of that song, or watching you play that. I hope to play it on bass myself, thanks for sharing the visual complexity of the song.

Marvelous , you just got it almost like Gary Willis but with your own voice. Amazing execution!!!

Nice job Herwig. I love the Musicman sound and the 5 string fretless SR 5 is very cool. How long did it take you to transcribe this part? That's a lot of notes! ;) (Gary's amazing isn't he?)

Is it possible that there is a 1/2 tone difference between the sheet and the mp3 ?

I'm sure you mean some notes left & right, not the entire sheet?

@@HerwigScheck Yes I was about to ask, i just started reading and I noticed the transcription says A, but it sounds like A#, and kept watching the video over and over and yes you actually play A#, i taught my ear was playing tricks on me.

@@HerwigScheck I know what dominique means, i was trying to play the music with the original song from KZbin and seems it is half a step higher.

Wow. Great playing! Is that fretboard original? did you epoxi it or something? looks shiny. Thanks for sharing.
@HerwigScheck9 жыл бұрын
+Pablo Cavallo thank you for the kind words. It is the original (Pau Ferro) fingerboard but since roundwounds strings were eating the wood away I had it epoxied by a luthier indeed. Made the bass sound more like what everybody's expecting from a fretless (more "mwah" or as I like to call it: more of a singing cat :p )
@pecavallo9 жыл бұрын
It does seems to sing a little more than other Rays. Thanks for confirming the epoxy ;) I am thinking about a fretless Ray myself.
