Man I wish all the shelters were that big around us. Thank you for showing us the update! That lake draw down was scary when I saw it. I figured I wouldn’t be back for years but clearly it bounced back fast. Rode my bike to both spillways on that northwest corner of farm 13. It was a journey from kenansville on a day I didn’t feel like taking the boat. I caught some good fish there!

Another great video Norm. The lake looks a bit different than in the past. Give credit to the Florida agencies for creating and perpetuating this place!

Much appreciated. Yes. Everything looks much better compared to year ago. The water is clean on the south end with a lot eel grass.

Give no credit to these people as they are the ones who totally and intentionally destroyed one of the best trophy bass fishing lakes in the country, they over sprayed and nuked this place into a mudhole. The sad thing is it was originally constructed to be a filter system for the headwaters of the St Johns in which it did an amazing job, there was a lot of healthy grass with very clean water and massive numbers of bass. Now its just a shell of itself, that's why there is only 5 boats in the parking lot.

Yes. Looks like Mother Nature was careful this time around and did not take all the plant life.
