I’m handicapped now due to an accident so I’ve done lots of fishing over the years but some of the things these two do I haven’t done and I’m living the last part of my life through these two and I’m enjoying it dry much. They are quite motivated to get out and try new types of fishing on their own. I give them a lot of credit for trying lots of new things on their own. That takes a lot of guts. But I’ve always been impressed with these two and all the new things they have tried. All the moves and all the adventures and different types of fish. They are amazing kids.

My favorite KZbinrs! I missed Bandit being there. Just adjusting to not having Bo and then you lost Bandit, the clown dog. I am so sorry for your tremendous losses. Eric and Arielle, the quality of what you produce is the absolute best! You are both so real, your adventures are so interesting, your love for Alaska and its wildlife is authentic. The gray jays!!Sometimes I have to watch a video twice to really appreciate all that you pack into one segment! Your videography, editing, and choice of music are professional grade! And you teaching videos are amazingly well done! What a team you are! Thank you for sharing so much of your beautiful life with us. May God continue to bless you with good health, great adventures, and maybe someday when the time is right, another awesome dog or two. Thank you so very much! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

To those with a kind and humble heart. Thank you Arielle for the excellent night close up shots where we could see fishes swimming. Felt like I was spear fishing with Eric! You guys certainly had fun with your new toy! I love when Arielle googled when things go well. It must have been cold for Eric to complain about how cold the water was. It was a sad moment to see Bandits reserved spot, he along with Bo’s memories will always be with us all. The little birds also had fun at your lunch party- not at all shy, and not perfect table manners 😂 Thanks for sharing another river trip with us.

When I was in Kotzebue we'd fish for whitefish. If you pull the heart from your first catch and use that as your bait, they loved it and hit regularly. The meat of the heart was sturdy enough that you could catch 4-5 fish per heart, so you were able to build up a reserve of bait. Wrap 'em in foil and season with garlic salt/pepper and butter. Five minutes per side on the grill. Wonderful eating. M'be keep a fine file on hand to hone the tips of your tridents. Looks like you made friends with a camp robber or two. God bless you folks, keep warm.

Ariel cutting the corn off of the cob reminded me of a childhood memory on my grandparents farm back in the 1950's. Whenever we had corn on the cob my grandparents would both use a sharp knife to cut their corn off of the cob and I just figured that it was something odd that old people did. Now that my wife and I are both 74 years old and both have upper dentures, we are now the "old people" who cut our corn off of the cob to eat it. Thanks for the memory and the adventure. I also caught Ariel saying that "we didn't realize how tired we would be after traveling all day and fishing until midnight". Funny how you start to notice things like that as time goes by! Looking forward to going along with you on your fall moose and caribou hunts too.

As everyone has said miss the dogs. I know you must miss them terribly Bandit loved the water. The spear fishing looks like fun! Reminds me of sucker gigging here in NC. My Dad took me and my brother a couple of times with him when we were little. They would come up the creeks from the river to spawn. We also went after dark. Once he and friends left me and my brother in a shallow part while he and friends moved ahead. There was a full moon so we could see. The fish got so thick in the creek where we were my brother and I were grabbing them with our hands and throwing them on the bank. 😂 When they came back we had as many fish as them. Great childhood memory I will never forget. Thanks so much for sharing your lives and adventures. Enjoy it so much. Love you guys!
