While I think it’s a good thing they are limiting FFS in some tourneysz I think it’s going to be a rough year for the fishing industry. There has been a drastic slow down in the economy that will take some time to turn around. More consolidation will happen. Things like Dobyns closing their warehouse and consolidating to another location will be more common. Many people do not have the disposable income they once did. I myself got only a 2% raise for this year.

Your 2025 predictions sound correct to me. I think the industry is listening to the fan base and with more old-school bassin' and the team series, the fans will be happy. It's great for the sport. I'm a little worried about the younger guys like Drew Gill and their ability to fish old-school. It will be an interesting season and we all look forward to it.

Strategy has always been what interest me while watching a tournament. The rule changes are going to make it fun to watch as to when and where guys decide to use FFS. Time of day, weather or patterns should be a big influence I would think. Looking forward to the 2025 season opener.

Cool video I predict of the og skeet mark davis and todd faircloth and mark rose will have good years . I think you will be top 10 for sure wheeler and Connell and Brent ehler will have great years . I can't wait for it to start off my last prediction is marshall Robinson will place higher then drew gill this year also . Can you do a video predicting your top 10 of the aoy for bpt and the elites that would be really cool

Hey Matt: Great content as always. With all this talk about forward facing sonar I have a few questions about it. 1st: I think ffs is like any other electronic technology that’s come along over the years. A lot of anglers come out and think it’s going to ruin fishing but in the long run it doesn’t happen. Also is ffs only a tournament fishing issue or an overall fishing industry thing? Personally I think it’s just another tool to help anglers catch more fish. Thoughts and good luck in 2025…🎣🤔🐝😎

Seems like it’s only really a tournament issue, if you’re just going fishing you have the choice to fish however you’d like. I agree with you, hopefully it passes over soon
