Bass Fishing the Oklahoma River (Multi Species Day)

I'm glad you get to enjoy the river. I've been in the okc area most of my adult life. I quit fishing downtown years ago. Just crap fish. Plus if you put a boat in upstream, it's all a no wake zone. But of course they hold boat races every year. I've gotten tired of the "city" providing benches for druggies and homeless to use. If they wanted you fishing, they would've made parking. But of course, they paved a nice bicycle trail next to the river so now you're not allowed to drive down it. Here lately, I've had better luck on Thunderbird. Haven't caught a thing at Draper the last few trips. Fishing isn't the same as years ago. Catch and release is actually bad for the fish population despite what everyone has been taught. Good luck!
