Tyler you are the absolute best. I’ve followed almost every tip you’ve given and you have yet to let me down. You said the Mach smash was a great chatterbait rod and the thunder cricket was a great bait. Couple with a 3 inch little grub. So I got all of the above. This very morning no less than 6 hours ago I was pulling up my personal best large mouth. 6.44 lbs!! I almost cried. Told my brother where I learned to fish. Thank you so much for all your tips and the way you explain everything. I’m so confident behind a baitcaster with so many different baits that I have every intention of entering tournaments next year. Thank you again for helping me find a love for a hobby that has truthfully kept me out of trouble and brought me more peace than any other. Keep up all the amazing content and fish on.

We have largemouth, spotted and smallmouth bass in my home province along with tiger fish. Then also catfish, or barbel as we call it, trout and species fish such as bluegill, carp and a few more. I fish mainly bass or tiger, when i get a chance to closer to the north eastern side of our province in Pongola river or Zhuzini dam( think the spelling is wrong). We also do deep sea fishing for Durado, marlin and other predator fish such as barracuta. I caught a stunning 5 pound largemouth last weekend on our pastors farm.

Two things. I love that rod and reel but I have that same issue with my hand slipping off the handle CONSTANTLY 😂. Second, here in PA the dog days of summer have been rough this year because we went almost 7 weeks without any rain leading up to that time period and it just made bass fishing super hard for most of the limited time we get here in the western part of the state so I feel you there. Love the pond series. Sad to see it be over soon.

Not to be that guy, but thats actually been proven to be a myth.
@Michdave700Ай бұрын
@@CarolinaYakAngler The researcher who did the very extensive study on this also explained the good reason why people think it works - the shock of the soda causes the fish’s heart to momentarily stop, so the bleeding does stop, but just temporarily, after a few minutes their heart starts again and the bleeding continues. In the study they placed the fish in white coolers, which let them observe the later restarting of bleeding.

@NineteenEighty8Ай бұрын
@@allenfowler1794 It just doesn't cast very far, not far enough to actually cover water. Thats my problem. I just rig flukes on my spinning rod and using a swivel to keep it from rotating. Ill keep trying brotha, thanks.

That Strike King caffeine shad is heavier than others, that might help casting.
@JustFishing1489Ай бұрын
The reel you choose makes a big difference too. I normally use either a curado 150 mgl or a zillion And can cast one reasonably far. I’ve used a medium rod or a medium heavy. The medium heavy is more moderate fast and the extra tip loading really increases cast distance
