@@foxcub2yo108 as predicted - first few casts caught fish, then the wing action stopped working as well. You have to bend the tabs back with plyers, and if you bend metal back and forth a number of times it's eventually going to break. It's not a very good design for the wings, bends past the desired stop point too easy, a fish getting hooked can easily bend the wings back. The manufacturer is sending us a replacement but I fear it'll just do the same thing. Still a fun lure but for the price wish it was more durable.

Dude I had that happen to me a week ago when I was using a shad lure from Academy. I'm super pissed about it because when I pulled my phone out to take a picture the smaller one that was one there decided to unhook himself and go back into the lake.

I had once caught two fish like that, it was a small mouth bass and a northern pike. Coolest moment of my life. The bass was 5.7lbs which we kept and ate while I released the pike which was 4lbs. but since then it has never happened. Wish I could re-live the moment.

The bass were all just hamming it up for the camera because they knew you were filming and knew you'd release them. They were doing you a favor for the video because they know you feed them.

I like how in that slo-mo of you reeling the bird lure in that its design was crafted to makes it look like a bird flapping for dear life out of the water! It shows how creative those crafters were in making this lure and not just makin a regular lure in the design of a bird.

Those operate on the same principal as as the old crazy Crawlers. Years ago I used to fish a small lake with a buddy of mine in Wisconsin, one day he saw a largemouth bass snatch a red winged blackbird off of the bulrushes. He said they were black feathers floating everywhere. He's not the kind of guy to tell tall tales so I believe him. Every time I was out there after that, when there was a bird near the water I would just stop fishing and watch, never got to see it but that would have been awesome to see.

You might not listen to this and I don’t know if you know this but when your bass fishing try jerking the pole lightly, it makes the bass think whatever you have on the line is injured and they then want it even more

As a kid my buddies and I used to sneak into a private lake in Los Serranos, California. The lake was surrounded by thick tulies and there were tons of blackbirds in the tulies. Could not see it, but every so often we would hear big splashes and then all the birds would take off . Pretty sure a big bass was jumping out of the water and trying to grab one of these birds.
