BLG is fantastic inspiration for anyone who loves bass but doesn’t play bass. So many of BLGs basslines come out ready to go, and even when they don’t, you’re a couple of clicks from a custom variant of it.

So glad you created this battle for BLG... really showcases how authentic the BLGs lines are to actual bass players

Reason Studios, you won. I will get my Bassline Generator ASAP! The Bassline Generator Player is just one hell of a music creation tool. To me it has the feeling like you invented the screw driver. For musicians! So let's create art!
@tresporros2 жыл бұрын
unfortunately you cannot just purchase the plugin, you need to get entire Reason studio, and pay for the plugin additionally....so if you use other DAW (Cubase, Logic, etc) you simply cannot use it in your setup.....shame

Holy sh*tballs. That was actually very impressive. NONE of those musicians were a slouch at their instruments, yet you showed that software could put them through their paces in an interesting and musical way. Hats off BLG! Never thought I’d see the day a vst could outfunk not just one funky bass player, but four!

People struggle to replicate real bass playing style rather than synth bass (inc me) and BLG, with Reason bass presumably, really seems able to nail the feel and subtle pulls and pops and note lengths. Most wouldn't know BLG wasn't a real player.

@ReasonStudios2 жыл бұрын
Good question! For the bass tones in this video I used the Reason Electric Bass instrument which is a Rack Extension. I wanted to level the playing field with the real bass players by playing something that sounded like an electric bass and not a synth for them to match. /ryan

My friend of mine has been learning bass and was keeping Me up to date with his progress and wanted Me to make him some basslines with Reason for him to play and I struggled and hes still waiting, that was before Bassline generater was released. Anyway I can tell you that no Bass player will be able to play complex bass made in Bassline generater.
