Dammed Reason Studios. SMH. You gonna make me say it… Everything in 13 seems really dope. BUT WHO WAS THE FRIGGIN IDIOT WHO SAID HEY LETS COMPLETELY CONFUSE EVERYONE WHO IS HAPPY WITH YOUR DAW AND CHANGE THE BROWSER TO WHERE YOU CAN’T FIND CRAP!!! I mean what sense does it make to make people who are used to your DAW, and support it as a stand alone, now have to become a friggin computer programmer just to use the browser!!’?? Are you truly serious!!? Dammed you made me have to be that guy.

You can have more customers, if your intro movie will be not such stupid like this one. Dunno why you have choosen such "idiotic" form of presentation. This guy walking on the street looks very pathetic. Please try to use professional form of presentation.

can we have zooming into or out of sequencer wideness with holding both mouse keys over the zoom-bar please? it is a bit annoying to go of the left and right of it, to zoom in and out...
@SoulfulElectricity
@SoulfulElectricity 18 сағат бұрын
i mean like hold both keys, move mouse up = zoom in , move mouse down = zoom out, while both keys pressed and cursor is on zoom-bar. zoom should go into middle of where the zoom-bar is then.. would be cool!

I hope Reason Studios bring out an actual demo, this was awful…. Sorry to say it, I never troll or say bad stuff really… but in fairness this was unprepared fumbling around with really basic boring drums…. Don’t mean that in a bad way love, but a little bit of prep….

A nice addition to the Chord Sets would be Swedish Polska or medieval Swedish vibes. Bo Hansson style Chord Sets.

I know you can do powerful things like this in Ableton. But Reason is just so visually inviting and makes you want to actually experiment with things like this. Probably why I always come back to it when looking for new ideas instead of Ableton or Maschine.

If you guys make it possible to have individual blocks in the sequencer automatically be different colors for different phrases, again (this feature was removed) I will buy Reason 13.

This is incredible. Thanks for the work you did on this. I'm seeing the potential of controlling an entire orchestra full of instruments and rhythms by just playing chords on a keyboard.

If anyone is already using Ableton then I heartily recommend the M4L device Autoplay from Altar of Wisdom to achieve this but with a ton more options and control. I use Autoplay on way too much.

Reason doesn’t need new synths. It needs for the UIs of some of the older ones to be brought into the 21st century. Beyond that, a player here and there along with effects here and there, and better acoustic instruments. That’s it. All the other energy should go to improving the sequencer as quickly as possible… MPE, ARA2, External Audio Editor Support, Better Controller Support with proper Mixer mapping (Novation, Arturia, M-Audio). Partner with some producers to release Expansion ReFills similar to Maschine or MPC Expansions.

i'm reason user since 3.0 and overall satisfied, but when can we have an ableton or bitwig overall style sequencer, with all the nice possibilities that ableton clip mode and micro-editing in sequencer-mode? would that be possible, please? (and not tell me to go ableton or bitwig and use reason as vst there, it's just not the same for me, would miss too much stuff then..)

I report this video for false advertising because in reality the daw doesn have a fullscreen mode (9 days away from year 2025) for over 70% users who are on windows. Also, 10 years of community requests for track folders. Response - note generator. Brilliant! Hard pass.

This was no tutorial i am Lucky that i spent alot of my life using fruity loops and modular! I can translate alot of the shortcuts and get reason working properly 😅 I like reason but this person is not really using it she has Ableton in the background. Also i think her music is dog's arse and so is her video❤

It helps them sell the software though, because for anyone that doesn't use Reason as their DAW, they can now see the benefit of the tools, but not feel like they *need* to leave the environment they're already comfortable in. I only use Reason, so I get what you're saying, but them having a larger market share could be good for all of us?
@genericuser7319

@@overseastom but they aren’t going to increase their market share if they keep featuring non-Reason users in their demos. I’m not just talking about people not using Reason as their DAW. I mean I’m confident the woman in this video doesn’t use Reason ever. She was probably paid to film herself messing around with Reason for 10 minutes and this is what we get. It’s sad.

All these new Random Tools, would have made my old "The Random Piano" easier to make :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/haPRmYSdjJ1kjck I've always used a lot of random stuff in my music, but sometimes it's really hard to mix because it changes every time you export it. I've been working a lot with 3D in Blender the last two years, and it actually have a really cool way of randomizing things. You have a noise curve affecting things, you can scale it in length (frequency) and amplitude and even customize it, if you don't want to do a controlled thing right there. The main advantage is, that the random behavior is the same every time you export. I miss that feature in my music making. Sometimes I have to export a song 10 times before the random stuff play the right things and I can never go back and change a part in the song again.
