Dam the opening licks literally gives me chills. Dan Hawkins is the Jaco of today's Bass playing. There's not a harder working Bassist than Dan combined with his teaching. I zoom up alot rewind n fight my adhd to learn what I possibly can from Dan. God bless his ability to play n teach ❤. My brother has been my hero for he played full time Bass n now singer songwriter still does play Bass imagine being full time musician like many for almost 60 years trying to survive n people just love his heart and soul. Dan reminds me of my brother Guthrie.

Fun grooves! I listen to lots of Tower of Power, a Will Lee cut on a Dennis Chamber's release on a cut where he's playing a number of 16th note, 8th note combinations. Informative lesson 👍
