Mine came with a bunch of shavings. Definitely a mess but so worth it. Keep it up man. Took the family out on it last weekend and the wife and son had smiles for miles.

Also what's the range with the 6gal gas tank I have seen some videos of guys putting a 3 battery 24v system and running a 6gal plus a 3gal tank for fishing tournaments
@BredForBass3 жыл бұрын
I have fished all day on a 6 gal tank idk the exact mileage but you got to run the crap out of it to get empty that 6 gal.Guess it depends the size of the lake your fishing also.I carry a 2gal o shit can in my back compartment just incase.If you were to upgrade I would just get a 9 gal to replace the 6.

Love your videos man. I am going to be in the market for a bass tracker classic in about a year. I want to buy one brand new and pay it outright. But I herd they might be stopping production on the classic xl by next year. Do you know if this is true??
@BredForBass3 жыл бұрын
Appreciate it bud I have not heard this but that don’t mean it’s not possible.It’s by far the hottest selling boat in the country so I would be surprised if they did unless they are not making much profit on them
@timt91973 жыл бұрын
They told me 18 weeks. Hahah I’m 4 weeks in. Still a long time to go haha.

Something you didn't mention: those panel screws are NOT Phillips head. They're #2 square bit. Also, mine came with a sticker on the motor showing the prop size. My sticker said 12x22 which is grossly wrong. The Merc 50 uses an 11x11" prop (actually 10 7/8 x 11). I replaced it with an 10.5x13 Stainless prop to keep the rpms under 6000. Perfect.
@BredForBass3 жыл бұрын
Very true I didn’t think about the screw type appreciate the feedback! Good to hear the stainless prop is working out well for you!
