I'm a classical trained musician who's quickly getting hooked up to electronic music and this is the kind of tricks and secrets that I need to know! I love the way you work with basses, soundwaves and the sound spectrum. Thanks for this!

You'll have an advantage of having music theory under your belt. I saw even famous stars struggling to find the notes of a major scale. If you don't have a lot of melody instruments your melodies got to be great and effective.

You´re freaking amazing, every time i watch a video in your channel i learn something new! Came to look for some hi-hat inspiration(working on a song i wrote based on one of my favourite books), end up improving my bass sound! :D

Oh my God when i got to the extras section on your mixing masterclass i realized how lucky i was to come across your Channel and resources! THANK you for sharing real metrics and flow charts to help give my mixing sessions (i just barely started understanding how to export/ import stems and what it means to balance and process them!) After the video where you show us the flow chart, and started with the kick being -6dB everything started making more sense! I'm now becoming more familiar with headroom, clipper plug ins, compression, limiters, ETC!!! Thank you for helping us!!!

12 years of music mixing in my life with custom selection of the sounds. I wasn't so brave, to create something on my own. Then I had one coversation, with person who said "Why you just don't start?". I was so confused... How when where... Started to watching your vids, and just the melody Is coming to my mind. Just simple pattern thet I always wanted to invent. Your videos are perfectly detailed and short. Now to much knowledge, however very valuable information. Please keep doing your awesome work! I really admire it. Hope my mind comes to the songs! Let the HAOS be with you!

2:16 I'm absolutely FASCINATE about poeple who strictly want LOW ENDS Mono ! - "Dude why lowends mono ?" - "Don't know but it's the ancestral rule of musique production ...." You can have low end stereo guys ! I promise you'll never goes hell if your lowends are not mono. If you think your music'll play on mono speakers : bluetooth speakers or phone (however you'll go hell if you listen music on your phone's speaker) YOU JUSTE HAVE TO CHECK THE MONO COMPATIBILITY ! (Because of phase cancellation) Lot of famous tracks have stereo low ends . Check ANYMA - Running Next episode : "Dude why should I absolutely tune my kick ?" Cheers

I have made electronic music since 1988. But I dont get it. Can you make longer and slower videos? You have great tips but Its too fast. 🤔
@LukeIcardMusic3 ай бұрын
1.adding a high passed mid bassline will add to the groove of your song 2.people wont be able to tell if its a delay or a layer 3. Maybe you should try a sober month

This is cool. But sometimes the simple works better. All depends what else you have in your track. This is coming from 20 years experience.

My tips and advice for good bass lines, fire your bassist, just have the drummer and guitarist take turns doing bass, or have the singer do something easy to play while singing, But never let bass players play bass. Be like prince when doves cry, meets metallica one, No bass, They're like capes in the incredibles, Only bassplayers like primus Thats less than 2% of the global population
@StuntrockConfusion4 ай бұрын
This sounds like you turned a decent techno bass into a trance bassline. To each their own, obviously, but to me, this is the opposite of an improvement,

Years of secret tricks and didn’t go out of KZbin. Meh
@nathanspark48764 ай бұрын
I don't even consider this a trick, I did it in some of my tracks as I experimented many other things like doubling the bass, cut lows and distort and stereo enhance the rest, just to say one... But I consider these tricks simply like musical choices related to the specific track I'm working on. I don't agree when u say ''something is missing'' because for example I can prefer a simple fat bass without the fake delay thing, is not worse or better, is just taste. Based on your suggestion instead, this is a thing everyone should make, always. The problem with channels like yours is that tends to teach ppl how to sound as other millions of ''producers''. I like your content but sometimes I don't agree with the way u present things as golden rules or hidden pearls.
