Okay, it's getting boring...😉again a great fundamental video! I think another really important mixing tip is also: train your ears to be able to notice the differences .👂

I heard a rumour, don't know if it's true or not but after a curtain amount of time artists music is royalty free, so using samples from music over 80 years is fine but I think people might want to just research that first.

Sure get noobs to use dynamics EQs, that is not gonna mess them up because phase is such a forgiving concept. Duh. People learn your fundamentals. EQ and Dynamics. Then and only then start playing with multi-band compressors and dynamics EQs.

Thank you! I found this information extremely useful. With just a few simple adjustments, the track suddenly sounds great. I realized that my creative block was due to the low end-specifically, the drums not working well together. Once I fixed that, everything started to fall into place. The improved sound sparked inspiration, and every new element I added to the mix felt exciting and harmonious. It's amazing how much a small tweak can reinvigorate the entire process!

Me: Oh, this sounds good! Next up is probably the bad example. You: Now, let's make this more coherent. Granted, I'm listening on a laptop right now, but I'm still pretty sure I'll never be a pro 😁 Thanks for the great video's though, you're one of the best production channels out there.

Great breakdown of sidechaining and dynamic mixing! I’ve found that automating the attack and release times on a sidechain can add even more transparency to this technique. All the best.

i have a question and i hope you answer it, if i used soothe 2 for side chaining instead of the multi band compressor and eq, is it going to be better or worse, cause soothe 2 going to only compress the necessary frequencies, unlike multiband compressor and eq they will reduce too much unnecessary frequencies, or is it necessary? what is better soothe 2 side chaining or eq and multiband?

Truth about mixing First you regulate all volumes Starting with the Drums If ITS Not a sample adjust kick Snare hihat volumes Next you adjust the Bass and all other Sounds and Instruments one by one Take a Pause An hour or a day Listen Back making small adjustments in the Instruments you want a bit louder and less louder You can also make fade in or fade Out If theres necessary in your instrumental If your done now start paning Theres Rules for Sound spreading in a room and Positioning in Stage Classic Pop Rock all Genre You can also Pan many Instruments and Sound where you want them to sit in the room , often or sometines ITS better tofollow your own feelings And ITS making IT very interesting because ITS Not the stereotype Standard industry Thing Try Out you willgeel IT by Hearing If ITS what you want You can also compare your music to Hits you Like Now equalisation Starts ... If your into the Materia you can quickly do IT duri g the production process because you know whst your doing Sonetimes music First IS a brain Strom process and at a certain Point you have to manage all this Equalizer You Take hipass on the left Side and Low pass in the right Side Now you watch where the Wave is blowing Up because of the notes and Sounds you Played Watch If theres a Lower section you need für the stmosphere or Sound of your Instrument Bring the highpass Close AS Close AS you think while listening to the First Main Wave Hits of the Instrument you played Do the Same with the Low Cut If you wont Cut a highend and will Cut Out frewuencies that IS giving clarity and brilliance If you Play a high octave Instrument or single notes first listen and then Set the lowpass at the very end of IT You can adjust the slope that IS the Line going Downhill You can make that Line flat or 90degrees With an eq you can shape the Sound of the Instrument If you Play a middle octave thats notes in the middle of the piano with 64 Keys You are in a frequency called middle frequencies (C3) This IS about 300 to 800 kHz Depending on the Sound or Instrument you Chose A Standard Piano IS in this range You can See playing a Piano from the C3 Note Up and downwward that the Sound will only fill a certain Space If your playing one Note the much of the frequencies left and right is Just bringing muddy and disturbing effects toother Instruments Thats why you Pan and then you use the eq to Limit with highpass and lowpass Take a melody you played in the piano Set the Equalizer Plugin Put the highpass at the very left and the Low pass on the very right No you Bring the highpass to the right and you can hear how the piano Changes and Starts to lose ITS original Sound Image the more you Go right the more Low frequencies will be gone Set IT Back in the very right and do IT withthe Lowpass You will her that the hogh frequencies will be Cut Out the original Sound Image of your Piano melody So now you should understand that you can match the Sound of Instruments to everything going in in your Mix For example a Bass wont need 20000 kHz the Most Bass IS playing between 30khz and 500khz And Here you can Cut the Bass making IT Sound better to the Rest of your Instruments You give every Instrument ITS own space and some Instruments need to share a Space overlapping Für example a Bass can fill a kick Or a kick kann filla Bass They can also both affect the Sound of each Others negative Because they Play in the Same kHz range from 30 kHz to 500khz If you follow this way and you search for mixing class or Tutorials everything should start with volume and Pan I give you Main Tip Start mixing on -6 DB In the mastering process this headroom will Help to reach a Maximum loudness Here some Instruments can BE Set down in Volume or Higher If you Mix on 0db theres less space
