That was one cracking session. Loved it! Scott Sensei, having that command of English as well as command of high level karate-do is able to bring more to the table than many Japanese Sensei. Culturally the Japanese tend to 'toe the line' and not offer-up their opinions, findings or suggestions. And even if they wanted to say a little more, they are more often than not, handicapped by Language. Scott Sensei has clearly delved and researched into historical aspects of kata (from Okinawa I suspect), to really add another layer of interest, information and flavour to the whole kata experience. It's just great!

I do not train in Karate, but I do enjoy watching videos and hopefully learning a thing or two about it. You and your channel are always a fountain of information. Thanks much for the effort that is placed not only into your training and teaching but the filming and posting of this material. As I also have a martial arts channel, and an outdoors adventure channel I comprehend the effort that it can take to post on KZbin.
