Very nicely taught & demonstrated. I've been working on what I refer to as Body Efficiency. For example with a machine like a car or perhaps tractor, the challenge is try and not to lose Horse Power through the drivetrain etc and get the maximum benefit to perform the required task. I observed that with a connected elbow technique (such as the 3 elbow 'blocks' or strikes in Heian Sandan), once the elbow was removed from the hip (as in nagashi uke), there was a considerable loss of power. Fist back on the hip again and it was all one So in a nutshell, thank you for these training points. I believe the 'connectivity' tips will prove to be an interesting, yet enjoyable, challenge.
