Catching Trinity River Blue Catfish after April Showers

Michael and I headed out to the Trinity River in search of flathead catfish as the river began rising. Despite our efforts, we did not catch a single flathead catfish. We did manage to catch a few blue cats, though.

where is there I bought a boat but I don't know which part of Trinity has a ramp

There are a few spots up the Trinity! This one is up in Midway. They’re putting a ramp on on 21 that should be done soon, hopefully. There are a few private ramps that you’ve got to pay to use right now. Same with the Brazos.

My grandad was from Midway.. He would fish the trinity and catch some huge cats..
