Wild deer have several synchronous body signals that align with dog signals. That's why you often find deer and dogs developing relationships and bonds with one another. In this case, it was the front legs splayed a bit with ears far forward in a bit of a "sudden bowing" motion which represents "play" for both species. I have a Doberman and the Deer understand she’s not going further than the wire fence. The bed down every night only feet away to remain safe from the coyote pac which run wild in my area. The coyotes are afraid of the Doberman. Nature is fun to watch.
