How does MTD's "MM Style" pickups compare to real MM pickups? Are they as powerful? I've got a KZ5 and love it, but miss the kick-ass output of my ol' Stingray, so the Super5 looks very attractive.

It would be cool to compare the MTD super 4 or 5string to the Sire M7 4 or 5string. Very similar Basses different executions.

@@calvincurry8496 Are both the MTD & Sire made in China or just the MTD? That's a big price for a Chinese bass.

@@calvincurry8496 I agree. I think MTD seems to be more powerful than sire in series mode, while sire M7 is softer than MTD in single mode.
