The thing with Coxon is that he's not jaw droppingly amazing. He has a very, very specific set of skills, which he uses very, very well. And that's what makes him great.

It’s the difference between technical ability and creativity. He isn’t the most technically gifted by any stretch but he came up with riffs, progressions and solos that no one else would ever have come up with. That’s what makes him great.

Fun fact. Especially Liam Gallagher like to brag about Morning Glory selling many more copies than The great escape. Well Damon Albarn's work (Blur, Gorillaz and solo) has more listeners on Spotify than Liam Noel and Oasis combined now! And Morning Glory sold roughly 6 times more than the great escape but now the ratio is very roughly 2:1 on Spotify in Oasis favour (vs Blur only) and that's quite remarkable since Blur haven't really been fronting their music like Liam and Noel has . Great Video and great playing!
