bro i am pretty much sure that Kabir Singh legacy will outlive Animal, I notice now biased this industry is, when sahid did kabir singh he was bashed all over by everyone, bollywood award show boycotted him from any nominations and didn't even nominate him for any awards, meanwihile ranbir is being showered praised over maybe same level of acting as sahid in kabir singh but animal is a dull movie but Kabir Singh was a cult classic except then last ending everything was great still no praises for sahid at those times

I still so confused about how Ranbir’s character was romanticised at all. He gets called a demon at every point in the film. I understand criticism like they did stretch a lot of unwanted parts in the movie and could’ve given more screen time to bobby and Anil-Ranbir dynamic. But sticking to the template of wanting movies about Negative characters always moping with sad background music and a lot of self introspection also gets boring. They stylised his character, but it’s very evident from the end that Ranbir’s comeuppance is coming.

Bobby is shy. If you meet him in person, he rarely talks. Very nice person though. Anil Sir sometimes looses the track while speaking, so Ranbir had it pre-meditated plan to chime in and keep it interesting or moving, I would say.

Whatever I think is morally right, may not allign to what others think is morally correct. See i think we as a society have started to believe in societal justice even in movies but towards the extreme of it. Like if he's a racist he needs to die cause even if he's a good quality his wrongs override it. In Animal, Ranbir's character got very near to what he deserved. He's gonna lose his dad whom he loves so much, his wife has left him along with his children(not sure), his brothers are being killed by the butcher, his health has deteriorated, etc. But he's has just 2 moments of victory - his dad recognising his love and his kid running up to him in the end(not sure). He had some good qualities that he deserved some victory and he got a lot going against him for his bad behaviour. We should accept the story as it is.

Just to let Jaby and Achara know my dog died yesterday evening in the vet. Vet suspects it's because of parvo. It was neutered just some days ago and we mistook it's weakness as a result of the operation but didn't know it was actually also attacked by the virus. My sis lives away and she was the one to bring oreo home when it was a child. His absence has left a big gap in my heart. With his death, I have realized it's the memories and realization that he will never come back and spend times with us again that makes us really broken from the inside. May his soul rest in peace. I am gonna miss him forever. 😔🙏

@@manvishukla9869 if you watched the interview closely then you would have felt how awkward and cringe Anil Kapoor can be For instance look at the reply Anil Kapoor gave for the question when bassi asked Anil Kapoor how was it playing the father role for Ranbir Anil Kapoor started to give broken and irrelevant (no context)pieces of information which made no sense whatsoever and also the way he started by using Rishi Ji's name as "chintu" and "Rishi" , first of all Rishi ji was much senior and elder to Anil Kapoor and also one should always address a departed soul with respect, atleast he could have said "Rishi ji" or Sir. But Anil Kapoor wants to be the cool wannabe guy always but ends being the awkward one.

I feel, it was not at all for the actors that people went to watch the movie, it was actually for the looks and mainly the father son duo, cuz that is way too relatable in India. All that was already potrayed in the trailer, and specially thag paired with the hardcore action scenes gave every guy a huge adrenaline rush and made all the men feel badass. Being that said, in the trailer, the one actor who blew people's minds was Bobby deol, everyone just wanted to see, wtf, him like this, wtf is his story and that why people actually wanted to watch.

I disagree with Jaby that Animal romanticized negative qualities. Give specific examples it showed true human nature and that inherently deep down we are all flawed beings that are not morally perfect. We are technically animals.

Wacth taxi No9 2 11 with nana patekar and john abraham once u will understand why bcs both those characters are flawed and were meant to be hated but it doesnt glorify it but instead show mirror to the audience.

tbh, all of the criticism is very valid, but the problem is with the audience. indian audience tend to LEARN from movies which is stupid as fk. its an A rated movie (not like it matters, so many children watched this movie smh), and people should KNOW what was wrong with the movie in the first place. but also SRV can go to hell. he makes a movie and gets pissed off that people don't give him "freedom of speech" but he then gets pissed off when he gets criticism.

Maybe, but atleast don't celebrate a negative character which SRV always does, make it realistic like Kashyap maybe. This movie is largely an unashamedly chauvinistic fantasy and will have a niche following with the so called "Alpha" that the movie explores. But don't forcefully defend it as an artistic dwelling in a layered character or something. Their is a more sensible story in their which SRV doesn't care about.

Ranbir Kapoor is son of fabulous actor of his time Rishi Kapoor (died at age 67 in 2020 with 92 movies first film in 1955)and Ranbir Kapoor ( age 41 with 33 movie and first movie in 2007) is a classy and phenomenal actor when it comes to movies and his issue is he gets into the role when he do any kind of film and it takes time for him to get out of any role that's why people loves his acting. And Anil Kapoor is cousin brother of Ranbir Kapoor's father(Rishi Kapoor). The consistency of Anil Kapoor acting is great from movies 1971 to 2024 and he had done a role bollywood movie also in Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol of Tom Cruise and really nobody can match his stamina with respect to age, love towards acting and living life in a happy way.
