I'm from South Florida and I'm on my first trip to Colorado. I fished the Colorado River today and caught 3 nice browns. One being my BP. I have been watching you for about a year now. Deer Meat for Dinner, Robert Arrington is a personal friend. He was in my class his freshman year of HS. Colorado is just amazing!

Love fishing that creek! When I fished that spillway, I had the same problem, lots of bits, few hookups :/ There are some huge fish in that spillway!

Nice Splake! Hopefully the rain keeps up and the lake gets spared, but who knows for sure. I’m headed to the lake this week as I just can’t leave those tigers alone.

I’m the same way, taking the normal limit to avoid any law issues haha! Missed your vids man! Awesome work as always! One time my girlfriend caught a big ol rainbow and it broke off right when she flipped it up on shore and it flopped back into the water with the hook in its mouth 2 minutes later my dad reels in the same exact fish! Stoked I was able to get my hook back haha!

I watched your vid when you went to a drained res. and there were all those dead fish. They stock the shit out of these lakes and when they drain, all the fish move the river and streams creating food shortages. That’s probably why the DWR will ticket you for moving them from the dry lake to the river.
@bassntroutfishing3 жыл бұрын
The reason they would ticket you is because you could be moving a species that would be considered invasive to a lake where there is a perfect balance. For example there’s some lakes where perch are considered invasive because they’ve completely taken over. That was because one guy decided to bing them there. I just wish they would move the fish to a lake where there’s the same species living there anyway.
@fish-n-riffs3 жыл бұрын
@@bassntroutfishing yeah I get that part too. I was speaking with Fish N Game the other day (after seeing your vid) and he said they just let them all die because if they were to all be released into the rivers it would create over crowding and food shortages for the fish. You and I both know if there’s any “invasive species” in that lake…they are already in the river.
