8 gear ratio is very important on quick moving glides imo. Since working it is all reel inputs you can truly go as fast or slow as you want, the 8 allows you to actually burn the bait!

You cannot not get to top of the game worrying money or having a full time job if you do you will only reach half of your potential not telling ya to quit your job just saying nothing is more important than TOW = time on the water theres no replacement for it
